Yep, it was a huge help!

, depending on variables). Also of interest is that the unmodified valves NEVER REALLY OPEN! The reservoir bleeds down faster than the uh..whatever they call the upper chamber. The result is they only open about half way and then they slam shut again! Wierd stuff!

I think I may be seeing that on my pilot valve too. If I ever get a chance to finish the gun, I'll take a picture of how I fixed that problem. Things just got crazy at work, so I don't think I'll be able to get it done before D-day for testing like I had hoped.

Now, here's a question for you.
My new valve is rediculously fast. And, it's slamming my projectile with a burst of 800 psi Co2 slighlty off center of the projectile. It is actually tearing the fins off. Something I didn't have trouble with before. I was thinking about putting a diffuser in front of the 1/2" orifice. If I make the volume that the diffuser can handle about 10 times the volume of my orifice, how bad will it slow down my projectile?
