cannon lubricants?

OK-- here's one for the chemists out there.

I need a low viscosity lubricant that is friendly with PVC, aluminum, sprinkler valves, and "O" rings. I am thinking silicone, but don't know if it will have a long term effect on the valve or PVC. It has to be a thin lube so it will work in an automatic oiler like air tools use and not cause unnecessary drag on internal workings of a new cannon project.
