: : Mine is a diaphragm valve. No sliding parts or O rings.
: -------------------------------
: CC-- Mine too. Modified sprinkler valve 1.5" Maybe a Supah in the future.
: ----

:
: : I don't want to lube my RPG rounds or barrel.
: ---------------------------------
: CC-- I don't either, but as long as it's consistent and doesn't gum up; I can deal with it.
: -------

: : Just the regulator and I would use the standard 3 in 1 oil on it periodically.
: --------------------------------------
: CC-- I guess I should do the same with my CO2 reg.

: -----------
: Why are we lubing here?
: ------------------------------------------
: CC-- There are a lot of big "O" rings (6) big and (2) really big rings all internal and sliding on every shot. (not including the (6)stationary rings). With less friction and wear, everything works smoother, more consistent, lasts longer, etc...

If the moving o-rings are the point of the lube, I'd find a source for the food grade silicone.. it keeps all the ice cream machines running. (same idea, multiple moving o-rings that need sealed from liquid or air pressure) :)
