Many German Players are PLAYING from what many Allied players are calling "out of bounds".

Many German player assert that that is LEGAL play and that there are NO Field BOUNDARIES for the game.

Numerous Allies have noted that the Referees take no action when Germans are accused of playing, shooting, maneuvering from what the Allies consider 'out of bounds'.

THE GERMAN VETERANS QUOTE THE RULES AT THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

From the source at:

http://www.oklahomadday.com/files/Dday2003Rules.htm#orientation

Under the heading "FIELD" I quote:

"The field does not have and ‘boundaries’ per say except barb wire fences."

From the source: The field map is:

http://www.oklahomadday.com/files/D-Daymap.htm

The field map does NOT seem to have any field Boundaries Marked or Indicated.

From my personal experience there are Barb Wire Fences ON the field and between marked playing areas that have to be negotiated by players. Something that should be removed for safetys sake.

The rule could be interpreted either way. Barb wire fences are suggested to be interpreted as boundaries but it also SAYS there ARE NO Boundarys. The are fences that clearly AREN'T Field Boundaries.

The absence of marked 'Out of Bounds' or ANY playing field boundaries on the field map is suggestive that there are, in fact, NO FIELD BOUNDARIES.

Well, Allies. Until clarified or changed on the official website or at the game briefings, I would concur that there are NO OUT OF BOUNDS. A paintball first....! I hope he owns the land or his neighbors just might be suprised to see armed troops maneuvering across the back 40.

ALLIES PLAN AND PLAY ACCORDINGLY!

Allies should plan to maneuver as they see fit as well.

Show up where not expected.

Out maneuver the out maneuvering Germans.

Keep your head on a swivel and watch your flanks and backs. Make the Germans do the SAME.
