The burst shot markers I have picked up will shoot the burst of 3, 6 or whatever rounds so long as you hold the trigger. One brush of the trigger does not equate to 6 paintballs flying. Pull and hold the trigger and you get your 6 balls. Pull and release the trigger, it stops at that point, which could be anything less than the 6.
