Really, FA is OK with me, provided the shooter is aware of what he is doing. Blind shooting, leaning on the trigger until the hopper runs dry, etc are not reasonable. A reasonable FA shooter pulls the trigger until the desired effect occurs. Most "blip" the trigger to see what happens. Honestly, 9 balls a second is slow and a decent shooter can pop off one shot in that mode, or two or three and see the results. With my Bushmaster set to 13 balls a second, a good hopper to feed it and a minimum of practice, I'll one shot you every time.

But what Kerry speaks to of the character that leaves his marker "on" in the parking lot and leans on the trigger "accidentally", there could definitely be 5 or 10 balls in a spot before someone wakes up to the fact that he is shooting someone with his marker. Not cool.

As you imply, it is not the marker, it is the stupid, or not so stupid person behind the marker that causes the problem.
