You actually expected to get players that consider themselves, well, primadonna's (well, my guess with that kind of series) to do ANYTHING in return? Don't you know you are expected to simply give them everything and simply consider it an honor?

You must be new to paintball :)

In all reality, they should be darn happy that someone was willing to give them $9,000 in cash plus "free" practice time. In my opinion, you saved yourself a lot of headaches if they turned you down (idiots!). But hey, look at the bright side, at least they didn't say "yes" and then rip you off for the entry.

By the way, you're better off spending your money in other ways to benefit your field.

: I'm a field owner who had presented a sponsorship offer to a fairly large paintball team (15-20 members) I just wanted to get some outside opinions if this team had a good deal.

: I offered
: Entry fee paid for next years X-Ball events $8750
: Free use of a 33 piece Custom Airball field
: All paint at cost for practice and tourneys
: Sponsorship deals with several major companies

: I asked for
: 4 refs every Saturday, 2 every Sunday at the field
: 75% of the team to help every other month on field maintenance
: 7-10 players to ref at home field-hosted tourneys

: Just wanted to get some opinions here.
