this guy knows his paint... Anything i say seems kinda stupid now. But, my advice is to concentrate on your barrel not your gun. Do what he said to do with the paintballs, and you can also do the blow test. (incase you don't know, what you do is unscrew your barell put a ball into it from the threaded end. now, try to blow it out of the barrel with your mouth (blow gun style) the paint which flies farthest like this is the best match for your barrell. Personaly, i shoot anything with my spyder/all american. The two just seem to like paintballs of all shapes and sizes, and they don't mind dimples either. Anyways, l8er.
