Personal preferance is a big part of choosing a marker; and upgrading a spyder doesn't cost a fortune (only if you buy useless upgrades like bolts, x-chambers, lp chambers, etc). Adding a good reg, an electro frame, and a lp valve to a spyder pretty much maxes out the performance potential.

For those looking for the best performance, I'd suggest an impulse over an autococker. The impulse performs better in every way: faster, lighter, just as accurate, less hassle, better stock reg, can use co2 just as effectivly as hpa, cheaper than most hi-end cockers.

Not to knock cockers, I think they're great, but comparing it to the latest electros is like comparing a tricked Shelby GT500 to a modern Corvette. Just because it's cooler doesn't make it perform better.
