I went to one of the welding shops in town today to get a bulk 2400 lb nitrogen bottle (no regulator needed). When I told the guy behind the counter what I was going to do with it he said that when I filled my bottle the pressure in the bulk bottle and my gun bottle would equalize at 1200 lbs and that would be all I would get in my gun bottle. He also said that the next time I filled out of the bulk bottle I would only get 600 lbs ect ect...........

Surely you can get more than 2 fills out of a bulk nitrogen bottle. Surely he was mistaken. He said he was familiar with paintball nitrogen bottles so I didnt press him to much since he does this for a living, but I cant help but think he was wrong

I would like a way to fill my own bottles instead of driving 90 miles one way to the paintball store for fills. By the way , the closest scuba shop is next door to the paintball shop.

Any help would be appreciated
