: I can get my hands on a compressor and would like you experienced guys to tell me if it is safe to fill a tank directly from the compressor instead of filling the big tanks first?
: IF it would be possible what kind of filling stations and other eq would I need?
: Please... any input would help me a lot!
: Thanks!

Depends a lot on the compressor. Does it put out at least 3000psi (or 4500)? That level of compressor costs in the 1000's of dollars. If you're talking about the normal ones you see at Sears or Home Depot, forget it - they don't put out enough pressure (<200psi).
