I get 200 shots per 1000 psi, I shoot a Freak so my paint to barrel fit is always the same. For pressure I'm fine until it drops under 280 psi, then velocity drops until it gets below 120 psi and will not recock anymore. I think the rule of thumb is you want 150 psi over your operating pressure fed to your gun to account for fluctuation. I've seen maxflows running cocker, shockers and other gas suckers without secondary regulation, very impressive and very expensive. Razor : effiency + output pressure count too. : effiency: will you fire 180 per 1000 psi...or 220 per 1000 psi. paint barrel fit, ported barrels, marker tuning, etc determine this. : ouput pressure: are you still good when the output is 300 psi? or 800 psi. With the first, you get 500 more psi of air. : If you get a max flow single, you will not have to step up the output pressure to feed a second reg. You can just adjust the single reg to your marker operating pressure. : : Sounds like a good deal. I know I'll get dissagreement from others on this point, but in my experience I calculate 200 shots per 1000 psi. So with my 68 3000 I get about 600 shots. With a 68 4500 I would expect about 900 shots when full. I would definetly get the 4500 in case you happen to play at a field that can actually fill that high. Hope it helps. : : Razor : :
