Yes you do need a tank with a siphon tube. Tanks typically come in 50/75/100 lb sizes. Fills typically cost about $40 USD for a 50 lb tank and about $70 for a 100 lb tank (prices do vary though depending on the supplier).

If you plan to fill alot of tanks, you might want to buy a bulk tank from a supplier, but for occasional use (as in summer only), you'd probably be better off just renting a tank.

Check your yellow pages for compressed air suppliers or even fire extinguisher refillers.

On top of the bulk cylinder, you'll also need a fill station and a scale.
