One way to make odd sized PVC that I've read about but haven't tried, is to cut a section out the length of the tube. wrap some rubber bands around it, put it in a container full of water so it's submerged and microwave it. Like I said I haven't tried it and I don't remember where I was it on the internet when I found that. Another way is to use some masking tape. I've only messed around with that a little but it seems to be pretty good for increasing the outside diameter of 2" PVC so it slides inside 2 1/2" PVC.
