: In you're opinions, why is Full Auto fire not allowed on most fields and why should it be or shouldn't it be?

Because most insurance programs do not allow it. Before that, most fields didn't allow it, because it was found to scare off newer players - that was more of a business move than anything. Full auto bans became commonplace in the mid 80s.

: When compared to lightning fast, electro-pneumatic triggers, it seems that high rates of fire are currently reserved for the rich and famous of paintball (unless FA is allowed - giving newer players an equalizer.)

Huh? There are electronically triggered blowback semis out there for as cheap as $100 nowdays. In the scale of paintgun pricing, that doesn't put that high rate of fire into just the hands of the rich and famous.

:
: Perhaps the rates of fire should be regulated rather than full auto?

Unfortunately, that's not possible. It is not practical from a price and inspection perspective to retrofit mechanical paintguns with devices that limit their rate of fire.

: Please take hard shots at my argument, here, if you will. I'm working up to an article thing (maybe.)

: Gracias

See above.
See you on the field,
-Bill Mills
