THE WPF CREATES THE NOV ACE AWARD FOR THE TOP ROOKIE OR NOVICE TEAM

NASHVILLE, TN MARCH 20, 2000: International competition paintball isn't just for amateurs and pros anymore. The World Paintball Federation announced today the creation of the "Nov Ace" award to be presented to the rookie or novice 5 player  paintball team that earns the most points on the WPF circuit of ZAP Tour regionals, affiliated leagues, and wildcard
tournaments. Rookie and novice teams are now earning Nov Ace points in the same way that amateur teams earn World Ace points.

The WPF Race for the Aces circuit consists of six regional ZAP Tour
tournaments:
Atlanta, GA - April 1-2, Paintball Atlanta
Los Angeles, CA - May 5-7, S.C. Village Paintball Park
St. Louis, MO - May 27-28, Xtreme Paintball
Jackson, NJ - June 10-11, Top Gun Paintball
Denver, CO - July 22-23, Paintball Adventures
Portland, OR - August 26-27, Splat Action
Teams will earn 1/3 of their points in one or more of these regional tournaments. Teams will earn an additional 1/3 of their points in league play or WPF sanctioned wildcard tournaments, with the final 1/3 at the International Masters Tournament and Trade Show in New Orleans, LA, October 6-8.

The Nov Ace championship team will receive a team sponsorship package from some of the largest paintball manufacturers and distributors such as JT USA, National Paintball Supply North, National Paintball Supply South, Tippmann Pneumatics, Indian Creek Designs, Redz Comfort Gear, and many more.

With over 15 years experience, the WPF / Lively Productions has produced scores of tournaments including the NSG Nationals, the Music City Open, the Manufacturer's Series, and the International Masters. "The WPF is a natural and evolutionary step for Lively Productions. The WPF allows us to share our expertise with league operators and independent producers and to provide rookie and novice players and teams with a level of rule and ranking standardization previously unavailable to them", remarks president Jim Lively.
