: Both of them perform the same, the main differences between the two are

: Cosmetics:
: The minimag comes with a slightly different body, a short barrel, and a vertical bottle adaptor.

:
: Warranty:
: A long time ago if your marker broke down you could send your marker to AGD they will fix it for free (within limits)
: This started to get too expensive for AGD to keep doing so they came up with their star program.
: Each AGD marker has 1-4 stars engraved on the valve and this was the number of times you can send the marker in to get it fixed for free.
: A standard Automag has one star.
: A Minimag has Four stars.

Some more notes on the warranty - the stars are only used *after* the warranty expires. Any warranty work in the first 90 days doesn't use up a star.

Also, at events where AGD has a tech booth, they don't charge for service or drill out stars.

A lot of people think used to think they offered a lifetime warranty, which they never have, just because they did so much for free, for people who's warranty had expired. They still go above and beyond their 90 day warranty, they've just placed some limits so they don't get taken advantage of.

See you on the field,
