CPB # 4
First Place Open Class - Papeletto
The tournament field was laid out with an iron cross in the center, formed by four Dorrito bunkers, qith a single beam forming the snake on one sideline, and a pair of beams with bricked ends on the opposite side. In the tournament's opening game, Ronin took down Team Hypertensos for a strong start.
In Division 4 (Amateur) there were 6 registered teams but Master Blaster Ouro was a no-show, giving the other 5 teams a buy on the score table. From the round-robin preliminary games, only 4 teams would go to the Sunday games and those were The Vikings, Bushido Kids, Bulldogs and AGP.
The Novice teams of Division 5 played their games in the same format as D4. The Cabras da Peste, from the northeast of the Brazil were playing the CBP for the first time, and made a very strong first impression on the spectators. They ended the Saturday with the best score, followed by Adrenalina JR, Made in Brasília and Chan. The preliminary round did not go so well for the experience teams, Master Blaster and Zillion - they were eliminated as the lowest ranked teams in the division.
The battle for the CPB series championships will culminate on the weekend of November 17th and 18th, at the Copa Brazil, which is planned to be the country's largest tournament of the year, playing on two fields with their biggest team turnout.
