Brass Eagle’s Road to the World Cup boasts the “Richest Tournament in Paintball History!"…you be the judge.

Eight regional winners from all over the planet were flown to Challenge Park Xtreme in Joliet, Illinois for the final event.  Airfare paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

Team Furia from Guadalajara, Mexico.
Strick 9 from Alberta, Canada.
Warped Image from Bellevue, Nebraska.
Tip Off from Toledo, Ohio.
Evolution from Dallas, Texas.
Body Snatchers from Savannah, Georgia.
Team Britwy from Kyiv, Ukraine.

All of the teams were picked up at O’Hare International Airport and shuttled to the Wingate Inn Hotel in Joliet.  They had access to the three 15 passenger vans for the entire weekend.  Transportation paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

All of the teams were provided a four person hotel room.  Hotel rooms paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

Two Breakfasts, one Lunch and two Dinners were provided for the teams.  Food paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.

Saturday was the big day of the tournament, which was played on one JT SupAir field and one Pursuit Park field.  Entry fees paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

There were four qualified refs per field.  Referees paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

The event was run by Forest Brown of Challenge Park and Nathan Greenman, Lesa Gobble and Jason Alexander of Brass Eagle Inc.  You guessed it…all paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

There was bottled water, iced tea, Powerade and Mountain Dew available for the teams during the tournament.  Cold drinks paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

There were JT Maxim paintballs for the teams to shoot at the tournament.  Paintballs paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!  Paintballs paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!  This one just has to be said twice!

The teams played a round robin format giving them at least 7 games each.  Forest Brown then elected to take the top 4 teams to another final round robin to see who would claim the only true 3-man world title.  The top four teams were all very good, however, when the dust settled…it was the men from Mexico that ran away with the title of 3-main World Champions.

At this time Nathan Greenman had the honor of drawing the 5 teams that would win FREE airfare to the World Cup.  The teams that didn’t make it to the finals, but participated in the feeders and regionals still had a chance to win a prize…how about that!  The winners were:

Section 8 Red from Mexico
Ottocockers from Imperial, Missouri
Section 8 Blue from Mexico
Chango’s Army from Calgary, Canada
Phoenix from Columbus, Ohio

These teams won 3 round-trip airline tickets to the World Cup.  Airfare paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

As if that was no enough, we also drew 15 field owners / operators names as well.  If your field hosted a feeder event you were eligible to win a round-trip airline ticket to the World Cup as well.  Nathan Greenman did the honors here too.  The winners were:

Kingdom Pursuit Park in Logan, New Mexico
Savannah Paintball in Savannah, Georgia
Rocky Mountain Paintball in Colorado Springs, Colorado
The War Club in Rome in New York
Toledo Indoor Paintball in Toledo, Ohio
Weekend Warriors in Alberta, Canada
Official Paintball Games of Texas in Garland, Texas
Chango’s Army in Mexico, DF
Alter Ego Sports in Winnepeg, Canada
Big Sky Paintball in Cameron, Missouri
Triada in Lviv, Ukraine
Troja Paintball in Prague, Czech Republik
Adventure Town in Aarhus, Denmark
Paintball Battlefield Gifts in Amel, Belgium
Tornado Paintball in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine

All of these field owners / operators will receive a round-trip airline ticket to the World Cup.  Airfare paid for by Brass Eagle Inc.!

After the drawings and the fun day of paintball at Challenge Park Xtreme, the teams were shuttled back to O’Hare International Airport in time for their return flights.  Talk about your “red carpet” treatment!

I dare you to find a richer tournament series in paintball past or present, because there just isn’t one.  If you were one of the lucky teams to play in the event cudos to you…if you missed the boat do not fear cuz the Eagle has bigger and better plans for next year.
