Derder Pan Am Vegas 03
July 2004

Since the production of their initial offering, 300 Feet Per Second, Derder Productions has been hitting paintball events producing their tournament video series.

In November of 2003, the Pan Am Circuit (now known as the XPSL) held their finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The players hit the field, and Derder was there with four videographers on the fields, catching the action.

Many paintball videos cover an event like a sporting competition, showing games as they happen to tell the story of who wins and who loses.  Derder takes a different approach.

By shooting tons of footage, they clip out the fast moves, bunkerings, overshootings, breaks and hangs, then mix them together to the musing of up and coming rock and punk bands.  The Vegas Pan Am 03 video features the music of Blueroot, Turnedown, Just A Joke, Homegrown, The Fairlanes, and Stereotyperider.

The action is shot from on the field, with 3 chip hand held cameras giving an up close to the game feel with a sharp, bright picture.

The result is a DVD that is packed with non-stop paintball action the most exciting moves of the tournament with a sound-track.  Each chapter of the DVD is another music video, and they are broken down by category with one for the three man indoor competition, two for the five man, two of the seven man, and short segments for credits and the player’s party.  As an extra bonus, there is also a music video from the Pan Am SC Village affiliate and Cal Jam 2003.

Derder has made a video preview clip of the DVD available online HERE.
