PRESS RELEASE

WPF REFEREE PROGRAM TO BE SPONSORED BY WICKED MPULSE SPORTS WEAR

NASHVILLE, TN: April 14, 2000: In it's continuing efforts to promote and standardize tournament paintball, The World Paintball Federation today announced a sponsorship agreement with Wicked Mpulse Intense Sports Wear of Lexington, North Carolina. Terms of  this agreement include providing standard Wicked Mpulse refs jerseys to all officials at WPF regional
tournaments and at  the International Masters,  as well as designing a new custom jersey  for WPF trained tournament referees. This official WPF referee uniform, to be implemented during this 2000 season, will be the required wear for WPF sanctioned officials so that both spectators and players alike may immediately distinguish referees from competitors.

"The WPF trains and utilizes in it's tournaments only the most knowledgeable and experienced referees in competition paintball today. We feel these professionals deserve a standard uniform for paintball,  just as you see in the more mainstream sports," says Jim Lively, president of the WPF. "With the WPF, Wicked Mpulse Intense Sports Wear recognizes the need for a
standard referee uniform for competition paintball, and this generous sponsorship program enables us to provide our staff with the finest in quality extreme sportswear."

Opening in 1996, owners Michael Conrad and Brent Blackwelder  began Wicked Mpulse Intense Sports Wear by producing t-shirts for motorcycle competitions. They expanded into paintball t-shirt production in 1998, and now offer a full line of  t-shirts and paintball jerseys." Wicked Mpulse Intense Sports Wear is honored to be an integral part of the WPF referee program," says Conrad. "With the success we have seen from our paintball products and due to overwhelming demand, we are currently developing  a new line of competition gloves and pants to be introduced during this season with the custom WPF referee jersey."

With the introduction of an international referee program in the 2000 paintball season, the World Paintball Federation looks to standardize the training of referees in both competition and recreational paintball.
