3/3/99

Malibu, CA

Standard Paintball Industries (SPI) recently introduced the sofboards dasher boards system to the paintball industry at the SKYBALL2 tournament February 20-21, 1999.  The sofboards system was originally designed as roller hockey boards but work equally well as either bunkers or an outside perimeter for a paintball field.

The SPI Paintball system includes a unique system of interlocking plastic panels which can be configured in literally millions of different combinations.  The system can not only be used for bunkers but can also be used as a perimeter for either an outdoor or an indoor installation complete with Plexiglas panels or netting so spectators do not get paint on them.

Unlike other self-contained paintball fields, the SPI Paintball System, can be rearranged in literally minutes to accommodate the different levels of players and field configurations.  Moreover, the system does not require elaborate rigging to keep each bunker in place and does not require air compressors.

The individual pieces are free standing and have the ability to be anchored in place using many different easy to use methods, such as sand bags, stakes, fence posts and our patented self-contained outrigger which fits directly into the bunker.

The system is affordable.  A complete set of bunkers can be purchased for under $7,000.00 US.  And they will last 50 plus years with out any
maintenance.
