Bentonville, AR, January 29, 2001 - Brass Eagle Inc. (Nasdaq: XTRM) today announced The 2nd Annual International “Road 2 Aruba” a.k.a. “Six On The Beach” 3-Man Paintball Tournament Series for 2001.  This highly competitive event represents the sequel to the ultra successful 2000 series regarded as the best paintball tournament in the history of the industry. All 3-man amateur teams interested in playing in feeder tournaments, should immediately contact their local fields or check with Brass Eagle to find the closest feeder location. The top 3 finishing teams from each feeder tournament will qualify to play in a regional event. The winners of the regional tournaments qualify for an expenses paid trip to the finals to be held at Brass Eagle’s new Challenge Park Xtreme in Joliet, Illinois. The winning 3-man team from the finals will be awarded an expenses paid trip to the tropical paradise of Aruba.

The 2001 “Road To Aruba” series is truly international with teams participating in regional events from the U.S., Canada, Europe, Central and South America and South Africa. This unique series offers every amateur player in the world the opportunity to experience the most unique extreme sports park in operation today, Challenge Park Xtreme. On top of that, players may find themselves in paradise enjoying the Island of Aruba with their teammates. It’s very affordable for everyone with team entrance fees of only $75.00 and the purchase of ViewLoader brand paint for $75.00 per case.

Eight regional events will be scheduled in the continental United States: Northwest, West Coast, Mountain, Great Lakes, Central, South Central, Northeast and Southeast.  In addition, six regional events will be held outside the U.S. including three in Canada, and one each in Europe, South America and South Africa. All field locations will be announced shortly.
The 2001 tournament is also unique in that an expanded number of paintball field owners and operators will be rewarded for their support with trips to the Island of Aruba for a once in a lifetime experience.
