        Gair Lowery and Eric Fleming of Paintball Mart San Antonio and Paintball Mart II in Austin in cooperation with National Paintball Supply North
America/32 Degrees have thrown their hats in the ring of Texas tournament 
series. With their kickoff event on March 25th at Tanks World of Paintball 
in Houston, the Players Amateur Championship Series (PACS)  will run
a total of 4 events throughout Texas. Teams will have the unique opportunity
to get exposure for their sponsors  as each event will get full coverage by 
Paintball2xtremes magazine (www.paintball2xtremes.com). The series
will provide amateur and novice divisions. Teams will accumulate points at
each event which will be tallied after the final tournament to determine a
series champion for each division. For detailed info call (210)491-0506.
         The prize package is currently just under $10,000 per event and still 
growing.  Prize packages will include Defiants, Angel A.I.R. Systems, Centerflag Air Systems, Titanium Boomsticks, other guns, paint, masks, 
jerseys, gloves, and more.
        The reffing staff will be consistent throughout the entire series and will 
not be teams playing the events. Gair and Eric made this a top priority to 
hopefully reduce the all too common occurrence of biased judging and generate a higher caliber climate for competitive teams in Texas and the region.
        32 Degrees Team Colors and Zap Performance Plus will be the official paint for the series and will be sold for $65 a case.  The event promoters
expect to offer players a significant trade show at the championship event in October and perhaps throughout the series.
