National Paintball Supply, New Jersey
Purchases Paintball 2Xtremes
Mantua, New Jersey- - National Paintball Supply, New Jersey has recently purchased the Paintball 2Xtreme magazine and all paintball related businesses under that umbrella. As of July, the magazine will be published by a new agency, Extreme Sport Publishing, set up as a division of NPS, NJ.
"We are looking forward to turning this magazine into a positive resource for the industry, " says Gino Postorivo, President of NPS, NJ. "Our goal is to have this be truly an industry magazine focusing only on the many positive aspects of our sport." The magazine will be non-political in nature and will be a vehicle for fields and retail stores as well as the manufacturers and distributors to advertise their companies, fields, and related events.
Ideas on the drawing board include breaking the country into 8 zones and having a staff writer in each zone cover events and submit articles. "We will also be looking for story and technical writers, " says Postorivo. Anyone interested in being on board or sharing ideas for the publication can e-mail Gino directly at Gino@nationalpaint.com.
Another idea currently being entertained is to have the magazines direction, guided by an advisory board comprised of leaders within the industry. These individuals will be invited to participate for a year at a time and represent the many segments of the paintball community. "The industry at large needs to know that this publication will not simply be a mouthpiece for my company. It will move forward toward the benefit of everyone and hopefully increase our visibility as a main stream sport," quotes Postorivo. He goes on to say, " We are all in this paintball boat together. I believe the time has come for us to start rowing in the same direction toward a common goal of a healthy, positive future. "
National Paintball, NJ is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary and
is moving forward not only as a distributor of fine products, but now as
a publisher of a magazine destined to "Honor the Sport of Paintball."
