A Perfect Match: Kingman International Corp. purchases majority share
of Raven USA
PITTSBURGH, PA Saturday, August 5th, 2000 - Arthur Chang, Founder
and CEO of Kingman International Corp. announced today that he has
acquired a majority share of Raven USA for an undisclosed sum. The
former
Raven USA, LLC will now be known as Raven USA, Inc with Arthur Chang
as its CEO.
" Kingman has been an admirer of Raven’s creative depth, imagination,and
innovation since they first entered the paintball market. We are
very excited about this strategic merger and it’s implications", said Arthur
Chang.
Both companies have been charting aggressive, although stealth, expansion
plans in and outside of paintball. As the two companies shared with one
another their visions for the future, it quickly became apparent that this
level of partnership would indeed be a perfect complimentary match. The
acquisition paves the way for the two companies to accelerate their business
strategies in several key directions.

The entire Raven creative and marketing group (including the company’s
founders and shareholders Josh Cranford and Brandon Visel) will remain
intact and continue to operate out of Ventura, California. Shipping
and
most operational functions will move to Kingman’s newly built office/warehouse
facility in Baldwin Park, California.
Maintaining Raven’s reputation for creative intensity, elite branding,
and superior quality products will be of the utmost priority, including
the U.S. made NUVIS protective vision system line-up.
The transition should be seamless for dealer/distributor purchasing
and
fulfillment, with no interruption in service. Raven sponsorships will
as well remain unchanged.
