This feature-length project concerns an eclectic multi-ethnic group of young Paintball players who reaches the World Cup for the first time by overtaking the greatest team in the world.  They overcome their own personal troubles and fears with the help of a Zen philosopher /trainer who also has to come to terms with his own fears and tragic past.

Drago Lazetich, the Writer/Director of Speedball, has a Theater Arts and UCLA Film School background and is a very talented filmmaker whose style is daring, ingenious and original.  He just won « Best Picture » for a project in a UCLA Master class film program.  He is devoted to quality filmmaking.  He is also a Paintball player and a martial artist.

Being the first feature length film about Paintball Sport, Speedball ’s originality and style will have a great impact on the audience worldwide and create a new type of Action films associated with Paintball.  Speedball has a tremendous potential market for distribution since Paintball is a popular sport in more than 60 countries, and is being played by millions of players in the United States alone.  With characters being in their early-twenties, this project also capitalizes on the immense popularity of the current crop of actors who are hot with today’s audiences. Speedball represents an unprecedented opportunity for the Paintball Industry.  This feature film will enhance Paintball Sport image and recognition to the audience worldwide.

We are currently negotiating with well-established actors Rick Schroeder of the popular police drama NYPD Blues, and David Caradine of the world famous KungFu series, for two of the lead characters.   ICM (International Creative Management), one of the main talent agencies in the Entertainment Industry, has agreed to give us full support once the funding is greenlighted, and to contact on our behalf up and coming young actors on the Hollywood Scene.  Paramount Network Television is showing great enthusiasm in our project.  Currently in development, we have potential investors and other interested parties looking at the project.  We have been approached by various crew and other talents.  We are also in contact with various Paintball companies and organizations regarding product placements, tie-ins opportunities, and possible investments, and we are currently looking for sponsors.  Our e-mail address is :
