Speedball The Movie, produced by Speedball LLC and written and directed by Drago Lazetich, had a huge dramatic and favorable response at this year’s 2001 American Film Market in Los Angeles, CA. Speedball The Movie has created a huge buzz and following worldwide with the ever increasing popularity of the sport Paintball. Presently, the mock-up trailer has been #1 for 5 months at Reelplay.com. Out of 3000 entries, the film has remained #1 for the industry online website. In addition, the movie has recognizable names attached to the project (see website listed below). The producers of the film wanted to keep the integrity of the sport by not selling out to Hollywood paramilitary subplot with real guns being implemented in the script. The movie has a niche market with the first full-length feature film on “the sport of the 21st century”. The film’s key devoted paintball player Drago Lazetich does not want to sellout nor disrespect millions of players globally who want to legitimize the sport and possibly become an Olympic sport in the future. Speedball Multimedia, a division of Speedball L.L.C. would like to announce the launch of the new FLASH website for SPEEDBALL The Movie. The new look is designed to give the Web Surfer a choice. The surfer can choose from the new corporate look in the fast loading HTML site, or a visually more dynamic look in the FLASH site. With music provided by film composer Chad Skopp. Look for ever changing news about the film in both sites. Also in the near future, the FLASH site will incorporate a video game that will that will give the Surfer a sense of what the fastest growing sport in America is really like. A partnership with ReelPlay.com (host of the Mock-up trailer) has generated
incredible interest in Hollywood as well as the Paintball industry for
the film. SPEEDBALL The Movie has been rated #1 on most downloaded trailers
on ReelPlay.com for several months running now. This unprecedented achievement
is seen as even more amazing by the fact that this is a Mock-up trailer
and the film is still in pre-production. All other films on the list are
completed projects, typically from major studios. Rarely do independent
projects receive such heralded press prior to release. Look for the link
