Brass Eagle's
Road to World Cup

Bentonville, AR, February 28, 2002 - Brass Eagle Inc. (Nasdaq: XTRM) today announced the third Annual “Road To World Cup” 3-Man Paintball Tournament Series for 2002.  The sequel to the successful  “Road To Aruba” series, “Road To World Cup” has been enhanced with more trips and prizes.  The “Road To World Cup” prize package includes trips to the World Cup in Kissimmee, Florida, trips to Challenge Park Xtreme in Joliet, Illinois to compete in the “Road To World Cup” finals, new JT 6.0 Excellerator markers, new Viewloader eVLution II electronic feeder loaders and Brass Eagle 2000 ct. paintballs.

The “Road To World Cup” is designed for blowback markers only.  Team eligibility is limited to amateur, novice, and rookie players.  The format for the tournament is 3-man center flag using universal rules with entry fees at $150 per team.  As a further incentive, teams that use only Brass Eagle, Viewloader or JT blowback markers receive a discounted entry fee of $75.  The tournament paint will be JT Elite 2000 ct. for $75 per case or JT Maxim 2000 ct. for $85 per case.

The "Road to World Cup" consists of three stages of tournament play: feeders, regionals and finals. Feeders will be scheduled from February through July in the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America and Europe. In order to advance to the regional tournament, a team must place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at a feeder. The 1st place team from each feeder will receive free entry into the regional tournament.  The 2nd and 3rd place teams from each feeder qualify for the regional but are responsible for their own entry fees.

In addition, Brass Eagle Inc. will randomly select five feeder teams for a trip to the World Cup in Kissimmee, Florida.  Every team that participates in a feeder tournament will receive entry into a drawing.  The drawing will be held at Challenge Park Xtreme during the finals.  There are more chances to win free trips than ever before.

The regional tournaments are scheduled for the month of August. Eight regional tournaments are scheduled in the continental United States at:  SC Village – San Juan Capistrano, CA; Splat Masters Paintball – Colorado Springs, CO; The Official Paintball Games of Dallas – Forney, TX; The Drop Zone – Topeka, KS; Challenge Park Xtreme – Joliet, IL; The War Club – Rome, NY; Arkenstone Paintball – Acworth, GA; Northwest TBD.  In addition, four international regional tournaments are also scheduled at: Weekend Warriors – Olds, AB Canada; Wasaga Beach Paintball – Wasaga Beach, ON Canada; Mexico TBD; Europe TBD.  All the teams that qualify through feeder tournaments will compete at their respective regional tournament. The teams will be playing for the opportunity to advance to the finals.  First place teams from each regional will win a trip to the greatest extreme sports park in the world, Challenge Park Xtreme to play in the “Road To World Cup” finals.

The finals are scheduled for September 21st.  The finals will take place on Challenge Park Xtreme’s new beach venue. The venue includes the one of a kind inflatable Pursuit Park arena. The spectator friendly arena was totally contained for paintball play measuring 100 feet long, 50 feet wide, and 15 feet high.  The “Road To World Cup” series will end with the championship team receiving expenses paid travel to the World Cup in Kissimmee, Florida.

The “Road To World Cup” tournament is also unique in that an expanded number of paintball field owners and operators will be rewarded for their support with a trip to Kissimmee, Florida, as well. For every feeder tournament hosted at their field, the owner will receive entry into a drawing for the trip to World Cup.  The drawing will also be held at Challenge Park Xtreme during the finals.  Brass Eagle Inc. will randomly draw fifteen field owners for the trip.   Field owners and operators interested in hosting a feeder tournament should contact Brass Eagle at 877-877-GAME(4263) or sign up online at www.brasseagle.com.  Tournament information can also be accessed through www.viewloader.com.
