Monk's Castle Scenario Game
Wretched 7 and MPP Games

Wretched 7 and MPP Games are working together to write and produce Monk's Castle Scenario Game. The imaginative storywriters for this game are Paul and Steve Ciesiun of Wretched 7. Their goal is to give scenario players a challenging and exciting game beyond that of conventional scenario games. "The story line to this game at times scares me, I can't wait to see what it does to the players," says Paul Ciesiun. An eerie detail to Monk's Castle is that it's based on real local haunted cemeteries. (Photos attached) The game will be held on October 11th and 12th 2003 at Realms of Ruin in Custer Park, Illinois.

Wretched 7 and MPP Games (Ben and Bonnie Torecelli) are inviting brave souls to take up the challenge waiting for them just beyond the gates of Realms of Ruin. The game will feature biological weapons, terrorists, zombies and a multitude of realistic props and costumes. A brief preview of the storyline provides a glimpse into the exciting and mysterious game:

"St. James cemetery, nicknamed Monk's Castle, is haunted with the tortured departed. This cemetery has kept a horrid secret for many years and has recently revealed what lies beneath the abandoned cemetery grounds, a top-secret laboratory that has been producing biological and chemical weapons. The lab has been infiltrated, and a horrific weapon accidentally released. This weapon, a biological agent known as C.A.P., contaminates the cemetery, waking the dead from eternity. The U.S. military is called upon to handle the contamination, infiltrators and restore the laboratory. Survival of civilization is at stake. Will lives be saved or will the stench of death stretch beyond the gates of St. James cemetery and into the world of the innocent?"

Intricate parts of this scenario game will, in many ways, make it different than any other, because it will be incorporating the use of Dark Legion Paintballs and UV Hoppers designed by Wretched 7 (www.nightpaintball.com). Supplied by Realms of Ruin is 80-acres of chaotic terrain with everything from a small stream, bridges, ridgelines, forts, bunkers and trenches.
