The 5th Wheel Rolls into Hollywood Sports

Make way because “The 5th Wheel” is rolling in to Hollywood Sports Park! HSP is no stranger to the dating community. Countless couples make HSP a definite stop when on a date. Among the most popular dating activities, besides paintball of course, is climbing the giant rock wall. You’ll be surprised how many guys go in to it thinking that it’s going to be a piece of cake
beating their girlfriend. The sad truth is that most guys end up eating their words ‘cause they usually lose. ~Bummer.
As we all know, those of us between the ages of 16-28 anyway, “The 5th Wheel” is a reality dating T.V. show. Two girls and two guys are placed in a bus and driven to an exciting and exotic location for them to hit it off. The twist comes after romance has bloomed. After the first four people have had a chance to bond and usually picked a mate & partner, a fifth (usually always a hottie!) is thrown in to the mix to shake things up. You don’t have to be a mathematical genius to figure out that at least one person will walk empty handed and be terribly humiliated on television. That’s how the game works. So what happened during the
taping at HSP?
The first couple hit it off at HSP’s massive paintball arena. They ran from bunker to bunker seeking shelter after shelter. It was crazy, I almost got shot twice and I wasn’t even playing! I was just standing near the margins. Good thing I was wearing my trusty goggles. This crazy shooting I blame on the “first timer effect.” First timers have the tendency to either 1) get trigger-happy and blindly shoot at whatever even if its just air, and 2) they freeze and restrict their shooting to a complete minimum. Anyway, about three-minutes before the game ended, the trigger-happy guy ran out of paintballs. The girl took this window of opportunity and had
just enough time to BAM! Shoot him right below the belly button, OUCH! The date didn’t end that bad though. A couple of minute’s later, cameras caught them making out.
As for the second couple, they wagered a kiss on who could get up the rock wall fastest. Unfortunately for the guy, literally, about 15-seconds in to it, about 1/10th of the way up the rock wall, he fell! The girl was like a cat though. She quickly ran up the rock wall and made it half way up. She stopped and didn’t go any higher because she wanted to give the guy another chance to catch up. The guy got on the wall again and tried to climb it, unfortunately, in maybe about 5-seconds he was on his way back to Earth again. His face was red from trying so hard. The girl told him to “try a third time,” so he did. The poor guy did all he could to get to
the height of where the girl was. Judging by the intense look on the guy’s face, and the bulging veins through his red head, there was no way in hell he was going to even come close. Lucky for him the girl still gave him a peck on the cheek.
Next, the 5th Wheel, a complete hottie was introduced in to the mix to cause trouble among the couples. I’m not going to reveal what happened, your just going to have to tune in to “The 5th Wheel.” If you live in the L.A. area, you can watch the show Monday-Friday on KCAL 9 (Los Angeles) at 5:30 PM.
Next time you and your girlfriend, or you and your boyfriend get bogged down and are not sure of where to kick it on Friday or Saturday night, instead of going back and forth with, “What do you want to do?” – “I don’t know, what do YOU want to do?” stop by Hollywood Sports and experience the rush. HSP is inexpensive, right around the corner, and there are plenty of new and extreme things to do. Get up! Get involved and do something! Break out of the boring routine, and mix it up with HSP. If paintball is not the thing for you and your boyfriend/girlfriend, come and kick it up at the skate arena, or blow some dust up at the BMX
track. Have a picnic somewhere on the 30-acre theme park, or have dinner at our restaurant. Flex your muscles at the arcade, or shoot some baskets at our basketball courts, or have some extreme soccer fun! Whatever it is (or even if you don’t know what it is or what to do), just come on down to HSP and you’ll for sure find yourself having fun in less than a minute. Join the many couples, including the couples of “The 5th Wheel” at Hollywood Sports Park. Even if you’re single, stop by, and check out the singles scene at the HSP nightclub. So next time you find yourself dealing with, “What do you want to do?” – “I don’t know, what do you want to do?” just say, “Hollywood Sports!”
