Over 100 Top Paintball Teams from around the world are competing June 6th 7th and 8th at the Tweeter Center for Performing Arts, for over $120,000.00 Cash and Prizes. Paintball a new action sport has exploded recently as the NPPL Super 7 World Series debuts world-class competitions in Huntington Beach, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and Miami. The NPPL also sanctions two event is Europe London and Toulouse France making up a series of 7 events worldwide. These teams are not only competing for prizes but to lay claim to the NPPL Super 7 World Series title.
Paintball is a game based on the traditional format Capture the Flag. There are over 1500 Paintball fields alone in the United States and the sport is growing larger every day ranking 3rd in action sports above snowboarding, BMX and surfing. (According to the SGMA)
The Super 7 format matches seven players teams against each other on a field 100 by 200 feet in dimension. The games last 10 minutes, whichever team eliminates the other capturing the flag wins the entire match. Paintball Teams come from all corners of the World to compete. The Russian Legion is one of the teams travelling from Europe and is a favorite to win coming off a third place finish in Las Vegas.
The Paintball is a non-toxic, biodegradable capsule made on expensive pharmaceutical machines. The same machine make products like bath beads and nutritional products such as Vitamin E. The paintballs are safe to the environment. A paintball does not contain paint inside but rather a biodegradable food bi products and food colors.
The players use expensive equipment costing upwards of $3500.00 per player. The game is like chess very strategic where players must position themselves correctly to cover all the angles. The games are played on grass fields where spectators can see everything unfold as the game is won or lost. PBTV is on site during the event to film the finals and teams come from all over the world to play against the best of the best.
Spectators and are welcome the parking and admission is free. There will be a huge Paintball tradeshow going on with all the top Paintball Companies showing off the new products and offering some amazing deals. Companies like Pursuit Marketing Inc. (PMI) debuting the new Evil line, ZAP Paintballs, WDP, JT USA, Raven, View Loader, TC Paintballs, Kingman, WGP, Worr Game Products just to name a few.

The event also hosts London DJ flown in to spin up beat music keeping the crowds going all day, food and beverage is available and grand stand seating at no charge. There will be a planned Celebrity Death Match playing off at center court. Get there earlier to secure a good seat as seating is first come first serve.
The National Professional Paintball League Inc. is a player run organization that sanctions and governs Paintball tournaments and play. The NPPL sanctions five events in the US and two events in Europe where Paintball teams compete and are awarded points in four divisions Pro, Amateur, Novice and Rookie to determine an overall paintball champion. The NPPL is committed to setting rules, standards and guidelines for safe, competitive, fair Paintball competitions.
