Kalibur Takes Aim at the CFOA
CFOA

Lexington, North Carolina
May 22, 2003

The Carolina Field Owners Association tournament series presented by National Paintball Supply, the largest paintball league in the Mid-Atlantic region and one of the largest regional paintball leagues in the United States, announced today that Kalibur has become the latest in their ever increasing assembly of series sponsors. While particulars of the agreement were not disclosed, Kalibur will provide the Carolina Field Owners Association with several of their
outstanding and colorful Durasleeve protective compressed air bottle covers to be awarded as prizes at the remainder of the league's 2003 events, with details on other products and/or arrangements for future seasons not yet disclosed.

"Kalibur is a company of wonderful, talented people offering truly great products to a hungry industry, and many see the CFOA in a similar light, so a partnership between the CFOA and Kalibur is something we are honored and excited to announce," stated CFOA Advisory Board member and Sponsorship Liaison Josh Silverman. After several seasons of incredible growth, 2003 has become the banner year for the Carolina Field Owners Association. Having started in 1998 with barely more than a dozen teams per event, the CFOA recently drew ninety (90) five-man teams to Paintball Central to compete for cash and prizes across rookie, novice and amateur divisions. The CFOA hosts eight tournament dates per season at fields in North
and South Carolina, drawing teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia and even New Jersey. Legendary for its stiff competition and as a breeding ground for some of the best players and teams in the world, teams like National XBall League franchise Trauma got their start in the CFOA, and professional players like Trauma's David Wooten began their competitive paintball careers at CFOA events. Sponsors of the
CFOA include presenting sponsor National Paintball Supply, official field sponsor Ultimate Air Ball, Xtreme Sports Fulfillment, Powerlyte, Airgun Designs, Kalibur, Extreme Rage, the Matrix Center (dot com), Paintball Central, Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine, Diablo, Crossfire and Traumahead Sportz. The CFOA's official website is located online at www.thecfoa.com.

A California company only recently making inroads into the sport of paintball, Kalibur has turned the collective head of the paintball industry by releasing completely unique and quality products to an industry ravenous for innovation. Their push button fill stations have become those expected by the players at professional paintball events including those promoted by the National Professional Paintball League and Paintball Sports Promotions, and their reputation
for quality is rapidly moving through the paintball industry. Their less complicated but by no less sophisticated Durasleeve compressed air bottle cover both beautifies and completely protects any compressed air bottle from dents, dings, scratches or even extreme heat, and is available in a rainbow of colors including blue, red, yellow, green, purple and smoke. Kalibur's rapidly expanding line of innovative, quality paintball products can be seen on the Internet at www.kaliburtech.com.
