NPPL Chicago Registration and Info
NPPL Inc.

The National Professional Paintball League and Pure Promotions are pleased to announce that the registration for 2003 NPPL Super 7 World Series Chicago event is now open at www.nppl.tv. The event will be held on the grass alongside the Tweeter Center, Chicagoland's premier destination for all the thrills live music can bring.

The Venue
Each year over 400,000 people trek out to the Tweeter Center for concerts from the Dave Matthews Band, Jay Z, 50 Cent as well as for off-the-chain music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Ozzfest and Van’s Warped Tour… all presented against the gorgeous backdrop of Midwestern summer skies. This year, paintball will be added into the mix of first class entertainment. As was the Vegas tournament, this event will also be held not inside, but alongside the stadium.

Just next to Interstate 80, the Tweeter Center is located in a comfortable, easy to reach location. The Tweeter Center is actually easily accessible from any point within the Chicago metropolitan area. Eight major interstate expressways (I 294, I 57, I 394, I 94, I 355, I 90, and I 65) feed into Interstate 80, giving the theatre a highway network serving every direction on the map. The Chicago region is also served by several airports, including O'Hare (45 miles), Midway (20 miles), Gary, Indiana (15 miles), and Meigs Field (30 miles). The physical address for Tweeter Center is 19100 S. Ridgeland Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477

The Tweeter Center is equipped with its own heliport available for performer or spectator use… you know, for those of you who wish to make a rock star entrance and all. For more information on the Tweeter Center visit www.tweetercenter.com/chicago/.

The Hotels
The NPPL and Pure Promotions have blocked over 500 rooms in the immediate area for teams which range in rates from $40 - $100 per night… which wasn’t an easy feet, considering the PGA Tour will be in the area at the same time. For more information on the Hotel details, surf over to www.nppl.tv. For more information on the Tinley Park area, please visit Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau www.visitchicagosouthland.com.

The Crowds
As many of you witnessed, on finals day in our last event, the grandstands which sat 1,200 were completely full. And in Chicago, the Center Court will feature even more competition for the crowds to go gaga for. NPPL athletes asked to bring all divisions back on the NPPL Field for finals day, and that’s what they are going to get. The top two teams from each division will get their time in the spotlight as they play the best out of three 7-minute games in the Center Court on Finals Day.

The Teams
After the NPPL Super 7 World Series Las Vegas event maxed out at 124 teams we still ended up having to turn teams away. Due to this high level of interest we will not be able to “reserve” a spot for your team without payment. It is essential that you register on-line with a credit card or print out the on-line form and mail it to us with a check or money order. Once your payment has been successfully processed you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us and your team will be added to the list.

The Sponsors
To see just who makes all of this possible, please take the time it visit our sponsors listed on nppl.tv. The NPPL and Pure Promotions would like to especially thank our Platinum Sponsors who have done nothing but support us and continue to ensure that we are able to bring you only the best that this fine sport has to offer. Please join us in thanking Angel, Brass Eagle,
Chronic, Evil, JT, Kingman, PMI, Raven, Viewloader, WDP and ZAP.

If anyone has questions regarding the event or team registration- please call Camille Baker at (714) 536-9050 or e-mail camille@nppl.tv
