PigTV Tapes 3 and 4 Now Available

Tortoise Video, in conjunction with I&I Sports Supply, is proud to announce the release of PigTV tapes 3 and 4.  PigTV is a webcast television show about the sport of paintball, covering paintball tournaments, events and technology since 1997 as a part of the World And Regional Paintball Information Guide, WARPIG.com.

“We’re excited about the tape releases that Tortoise Video started doing last year with tapes 1 and 2,” says PigTV producer Bill Mills.  “PigTV is available to watch for free on the Internet, but not everyone can get the clear video provided by cable modem or DSL connections.  56K modem users can still watch the shows, but the modem technology limits the video quality.  Tortoise Productions and I&I stepped in with a solution by producing and distributing tape versions of the shows.  Since we shoot with 3 chip industrial cameras, and edit with an uncompressed broadcast quality industrial editing system it seemed a shame not to have the full quality video available to the public.  Working with Tortoise Video means that they can manufacture and distribute the tapes while we concentrate on producing more of the high quality shows for which we have become known to viewers world wide.”

The VHS videotapes contain selected episodes of PigTV.  Tape 3 features the 2001 Diablo Mardi Gras Open and Ultimate Madness, as well as music by the bands Allister and Midtown.  Bud Orr of Worr Games Products introduces Worr Paint, and Ben Tippmann of Tippmann Pneumatics explains the features of the electronic trigger upgrades for the Model 98 and M98 Custom.  Tape 4 includes the 2002 NPPL Chicago Open and World Cup tournaments, and Dave Zinkam of Protech Paintball introducing their new electronic trigger conversion for the Autococker.

“These tapes are great,” says I&I Sports regional manager Jeff Ferrari.  “They are packed with paintball action from all the top tournaments, and the price breakdown means that dealers can sell them at a price that gives the players a good deal, but still makes a profit for themselves.  PigTV is really a step ahead of anything else out there.  There are some web sites with video clips, but PigTV is a full fledged TV show covering all the best of paintball, and we’re excited to be able to bring it to players in a new way.”
