PSP Announces LA Event
January 29, 2003

In an effort to accommodate the concerns of the players, and to accommodate the growth in teams attending our events, Paintball Sports Promotions is pleased to announce the 2003 LA Open will be held at The LA County Fairplex in Pomona, CA. This union is the culmination of an eight month search for the proper venue to host the first leg of the largest and most competitive tournament paintball series on the planet.

The Fairplex complex covers over 400 acres and boasts more than 300 acres of covered exhibit space. It also has over 250 acres of paved parking capable of handling 40,000 vehicles. The venue features covered staging areas for the teams, flushing toilets, running water, and a variety of conveniently located concession stands.

The Fairplex is located at 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA 91768. This is approximately 30 miles east of downtown Los
Angeles and 10 miles west of Ontario International Airport and just two blocks north of the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10).

An overview of the complex can be viewed at www.fairplex.com

Check this site tomorrow for area hotel listings. You can get driving directions to the Fairplex by going to
