Now the world will get a chance to see “THE WAY PAINTBALL WAS MEANT TO BE” with the announcement of the 2003 NXL™ Schedule. “A NEW ERA IN PAINTBALL” began with the introduction of X Ball™ - the game - at the Nations Cup, held in Pittsburg last August in conjunction with the Diablo International Amateur Open. Now eight (8) professional paintball teams representing the largest metropolitan areas of the United States will play an action-packed 112-game schedule in the X Ball™ format culminating with playoffs and World Championship. The NXL™ is the first professional paintball league to employ match play rather than the traditional tournament competitions. The member teams of the NXL™ are: Baltimore Trauma
The NXL™ will play its schedule including
the playoffs at various venues beginning in February and concluding in
October. The season will commence at the 2003 DraXxus Mardi Gras
Open in New Orleans and continue at the NPPL/PSP L.A. Open, NPPL/PSP Las
Vegas Open, NPPL/PSP Chicago Open, Millennium Series Toulouse Event, NPPL/PSP
Atlantic City Open, and culminate with the playoffs and World Championship
at the NPPL/PSP World Cup in Orlando.
