NCPA 2005 Championships on DVD
By Bill Mills - Oct 2005

The 2005 National Collegiate Paintball Championship presented by X-Box made its way not only to cablecast television on the CSTV college sports channel (Click Here for more,) but has now been released on DVD as well.

The program covered the top games from the tournament.  Played in the NCPA long format, similar to X-Ball, these repeating score format games gave plenty of viewing time for TV.

The new DVD includes the programs which appeared on TV, with not just the action on the field, but player interviews as sell to provide background helping viewers understand the game.

Three games are included on the DVD  - the Semifinals game between Maryland and Florida, another semifinals game between St. Marys and Illinois, and the final game which crowned the 2005 NCPA champs – Florida versus Illinois.

The three games packed the DVD with nearly two and a quarter hours of paintball programming – more than twice the length of typical paintball DVDs.

The National Collegiate Paintball Championship 05 DVD is available at paintball stores and other locations to be announced on the NCPA web site.
