: Ok, i need some advice, how old do yuo have to be to ref? I am 14 years old, if not ref, if not ref, then mayby some other job, i just want to participate in a tournament, and i dont mean like, come to whatch, do any of you know of any jobs i cuold do?
: Matt

It all depends on the tournament series. Very often tournament promoters will not want someone so young working as a ref, because the refs will have to go face to face with full grown men who are yelling, cursing, and otherwise throwing a temper-tantrum the way not even a typical 14 year old would. Your best bet is to talk to field owners around you to see what work they have available that you might be able to do.

See you on the field,
-Bill Mills
