In my opinion you won't get any better performance from a more expensive reg, except for the SP Max Flow. It does have the same internals as the Ergo and Black Magic, just a little more time to adjust, but once set you never have to mess with it anyway. With stock components you can go down to about 300 psi, around 150 psi down from stock settings. I'm not sure if the stock 01' valve has the larger opening at the cup seal or not, I'm ecstatic about my Orracle valve kits consistency. Also for consistency get a Freak (I'm going to get nailed for this) system to match your paint/barrel fit.And don't just go low pressure, do the sweetspotting method. Hope it helps. Razor
: If it helps I am using a 68 ci. 3000 psi. Crossfire with a pre-set regulator. : Since I am trying to increase my consistency which would I benefit more from: a new valve or a new regulator? : Thanks in advance.
