Okay, since i've purchased my Gen x-4, which was at least 5 months ago, i have not had to mess w/ the velocity, its constant at 276, and thats right out of the box, my teamate just bought one, and his is the exact same way. They are the best gun right out of the box, and you cannot go wrong w/ ANS.
