Autococker bolt problems!

I just built my first autocker. I have a slight problem. The bolt seems too long. It stick out about 1/8 of an inch in the center feed tube, no ball will pass. I have a custom body for 2k plus parts and I put my 2001 parts in it. What is the lenght difference between a pre 2k bolt and a 2k plus bolt? I have seen the measurement somewhere but can't find it. Also is there a certain distance the back block should come back. It will cock fine but it looks to large of a gap if I set it with the bolt clearing the feed tube.
