most low pressure cockers operate around 200 - 250 psi...Ive seen one as low as 180 but below 100 Ive never seen personally.... if you go too low in the operating pressure you might end up with a finicky marker thats prone to needing constant tweaking...its very challenging to make a cocker work at extreme low pressure consistently... that having been said you can get orracle low pressure internals, combine with a good set of cooked springs and a lot of work you can tune the marker down considerably from the stock operating pressure. You most likely will have to change the main reg (the one in the ASA) if you have a stock one since the stock reg is not externally adjustable. change the pneumatics may also prove neccessary - at the bare minimum changing the front reg for externally adjustable rock or ticklet reg as well. operating pressure is not a huge factor - sure its nice to have the bolt stop on a ball rather than chop and its nice to see the low numbers...but if the marker aint broke - dont fix it =P good luck and have fun out there Jasleth |
