Remember your velocity is controlled by the volume and rate of flow though the valve. A lighter valve spring allow a LIGHTER hammer spring to be used to generate the SAME muzzle velocity. The lighter the hammer spring the less force is required to disengage the sear. A lighter trigger pull is required. Relative to the E blade the same is true. Sort of.. Lighter force is required to disengage the sear. But I doubt that translates to power consumption and battery life. If it does, it probably is so minimal, it will not be worth discussing. The E blade has a timing circuit for Solenoid On and Solenoid Off intervals. Even IF the force required is less, the time the solenoid is drawing current is unchanged. Whether or not the sear disengaged, or when, or sooner or later in the solenoid On interval, it does NOT change how long the solenoid was on. Thus the power consumption is also unchanged.
