I just took my Ergo off, I haven't rebuilt it but I found the pressure crep around on it also, I know alot of people like these regs. I've had mine for 2 years and always found I couldn't keep a consistant pressure. I picked up a BobLong Torpedeo reg and was very impressed, much cheaper than some of the others on the market, just incase you were shopping around have a look at it.
