By the time you buy all the parts and get it working you still won't have a post 98 cocker to play with. It's resale value will be less than a 98 semi. I would suggest you just pick up a used semi cocker. You might be dollars ahead and still own a pump. I wish I still had mine..... Or you could sell the pump and the money you budgeted to spend and get a pretty decent cocker. There IS a market for them. I'm a project guy myself. Try to do impossible things just to see if I can pull it off. So I understand...
