 a regulator regulates the pressure of the HPA or c02. The 2002 cockers come with a reg. So your good. For more info on all this stuff, surf the web. I think ravi chopra does a cool breakdown on regs and how they work, i don't know his site address but go to google and search ravis paintball place.
