I tried that but the combo didn't work for me, I've always been happy with their springs and have a good relationship with Maddman, Mike and Maddy. But I did solve the problem using an Orracle valve and springs, see my post above. Sweetspoted at 280 psi input, velocity was 220 fps, 1 turn on the IVG put me right at 280fps with +/- 8 variance. And I can gas up with the hammer down finally!! Will work well with the Sniper 2 pump kit I just got. Thanks RTR. Razor : Maddman is a good spring set. You mentioned below that you're using a blue valve and blue hammer spring. Try the green hammer spring (lighter), this should stop the leaking when the marker isn't cocked. : Rick
: : Razor : : : : : : I've seen/read/tried this from Vantrepes web page, I could not get enough velocity when the reg sweet spotted using this method, it wasn't consistent either, but I tried. : : : : : : Red valve (very heavy) and yellow hammer (very light) not your normal low pressure combination such as green valve yellow hammer. How far in is your velocity adjuster? I don't see how your valve is held open long enough to provide the amount of air required at that low of an operating pressure.
