You shouldn't have to mess with the reg, it's set around 400 psi and you adjust velocity from the back by pulling out the cocking rod and using an allen wrench, in= increase velocity, out= decrease velocity. Hopefully it's timed from the factory, I've seen some poor excuses. The crossfire tank is fine, I would use it over CO2, but on remote is the best option when running CO2. Palmer stop opinion - probably works, I think it looks liketricycle and you could do it yourself, I'm a big Palmer abstainer from a bad experience and highly recommend ANS products. Hope it helps. : I will use this gun when I play a more passive role with groups of newbies and I stay in the backfield relaying info for them, playing more of a longball defender, letting them have their hayday. : Stock will work fine for me, but the instruction manual is almost non existent. : The reg is preset, no adjustments required? : Does the gun come timed from the factory? : I haven't yet gassed it up. I have a preset Crossfire stubby, 3000 down to 800 working PSI, this is ok to use with the stock reg? What if I used CO2 on a remote? : Palmer trigger stop, opinions, good, bad? : Thanks everyone for your input, I look forward to learning my new Cocker!!
