Well since I started that thread and I had the same problems you seem to be having I thought it would be good to follow up. My cocker appears to be shooting tighter in velocites about +/- to fps maybe less. Here's what happened between it shootingtricyclepy and shooting better. I had it into my local shop. The airsmith readjusted to factory setting (I had it adjusted a little low after I tore it apart to clean). I also followed Mr. Dupont's advice and polished my hammer. While I had the hammer out I cleaned out inside the body real well where the hammer rides. I did wind up finding some residue which I could only guess was anodizing that had worn off and cause some build up. I believe that this was most of the problem. Mine was a fairly new cocker and probable needed some cleaning on the internals after breaking in. Hope this helps. BTW thanks for all the help with mine guys.
